It just goes to show you will do anything necessary to survive. I hope one day to be able to go there and visit that house. My niece went and said it was a very moving experience to actually walk through there... http://www.annefrank.org/...

I ordered this CD "Anne Frank House" and it is amazing. It is in 3D and you use your mouse and click around the whole building where they were hiding. It takes you everywhere and has many stories to read. When you go behind the bookcase and go into the "secret annex" you feel like your actually there. Excellent CD. http://www.annefrank.org/...

Yes,it is a very very sad experience,so sad that everyone will feel sorry about those who hide there.I also agree with you that once you start reading and enter the same world with Anne,we can call it a heartquake.Sometimes, when it comes to that they heard sound outside and maybe there are just enemies to arrest them...Ah,such moments is a real torture! And sometimes,I will become so scared myself that if someone happens to talk to me or touch me,I will shiver all over!Needless to say what a feeling when it really happened there!

And on the other hand,I can not help admire her for her strong personality! She is great to endure so much at such an early age.Do you think so?

It is already sevel years since I've read this book, and it is such an exciting one that I will buy it and reread it.I stronly believe it's a book worth reading and rereading.

I felt sad for those people that suffered on the nazi cruelty. I just thought of how and what these people did to survive.

It was such a scary story, since we know that it happened in real life. The day-to-day events are carefully detailed by Anne and those made me realized the diffuclty they faced that time.

I read this book as a young girl about fifteen and I can still remember how I felt, amazed and frightened for this poor family living in fear above a factory I think it was.It made me cry.

I read the Diary of Anne Frank many years ago and today the story still has the same affect on me now as it did back then. To this day, I treat everyone as a human being. I can't imagine treating people in such an awful way. I feel that reading the Diary touches your soul and can help you decide how you want to live your life. In today's society, you can choose how you want to treat people. Do you real want to treat people the way Anne was treated because of her family orient or you want to have people treated as equals? I would like to be treated and to treat others as equals. We all live and breath. If only Anne could be alive to live and breath as I do.

When I was a teenager I had a friend who had read "The diary of Anne Frank". She told me a lot about the book, I became interested in the story, and I decided to read the book.

It made me very sad to read the book, because I couldn't help thinking about the fact that it really happened. I can't really imagine what it must have been like to spend so much time hiding in a small room like they did. The story also made me think about the life that I have, and the things that I take for granted (my freedom to go where I want, do what I want etc) I am grateful that I didn't live during the war and I am grateful for my freedom and the things that I am able to do.

When I had read the diary I became even more interested in the story and I bough another book with pictures from the house etc. I also hope to visit the museum one day.
