I was sitting here the other day in one program and wanted to go to another but was having a problem with it because of low memory and well makes things a lil slow to use so I know I needed to add more memory if I was going to get involved with several programs at once and I didn't want to get frustrated over it. So I went online and found me a place that sold memory for the laptop I had and bought me 1g of memory so I could play games be in mylot and chat at the same time. When it got here I'm the one that installed it myself. I have added other stuff to my desktop so I figured a laptop couldn't be any harder than that and it wasn't. So do you do your upgrades on your computer or laptop yourself or do you take it into a shope and have it done?

I know it can't be that hard. Some of the things I have done myself in the past & was surprised as to how easy it was. Before my hubby passed, he put the original disk tp this puter somewhere safe & I have not found them yet. Yherefore I ten not to get into things I don't understand. I know I need to upgrade my memory on my desktop but I fear killing my puter then not having the disk to get it back up & running. I'd miss myLot & go through DTs in the first 30 seconds. Maybe my fears are unfounded but I don't believe in tempting fate. One day I think I can do it...the next I'm chicken. I'm working on building up my confidence.
