I had several experiences on this. I am currently working in a hospital and I am responsible to do cardiac tests for patients. Most of the time, I need them to take off their shirt and I need to do an ECG for them. They have to take off their shoes before lying on the bed. I just cannot stand when the patient is stinked either on their legs or bodies. Yucksss.... What would you do if you are in the situation? Please share.

I don't know how you come up with so many of these great
topics yenwie! That is a really tough one! It is very
difficult to tell someone that they stink. I have been
in that situation too many times. Mostly with people
that I worked with. I have never been able to figure
out a way to do it without hurting them or embarrassing
them or myself. So unfortunately, I have suffered through
their stinking! I take the bus wherever I have to go
because I don't have a car and now that the Summer is
here it is really horrible how many people stink! Sometimes
the bus is crowded and there is no way to get away from them.
I just hope the ride is quick or one of us gets off soon!

Sorry, I think it goes with the job you've chosen. Don't you think that everyone else that works in the medical field has had that experience too? How about the doctors and nurses that work in emergency rooms all over the world, people are brought in off the street in need of medical attention that I'm sure have body odor etc. If it bothers you that much, change your field.

close your nose and continue. you picked a job that deals with sick people. You must have known that that means sick and smelly people that you have to treat. sorry chick, but you need to find a way how to deal with it, without letting the patients know.

I won't tell him/her because I think it is impolite but I will keep a suitable distance to him/her.
