are you going to travel this summer?

as we all know the prices of gas are going up this summer and they don't seem to be going down and we all know that it is going to be really expensive to travel this summer on a vacation or something like that...i honestly don't think that i am going to go on vacation because it would cost just about the same in gas that it would cost for the vacation(hotels food entertainment)so i was just wondering if anyone on here was taking a vacation and what you thought about all of hte rising gas prices that are happening...thanks for reading my discussion!

I haven't gone on an "honest-a-god" vacation in over 8 years. I've lost my house in foreclosure, I live in a 40-yr old trailer, I live hand-to-mouth, I work 3 jobs and am looking for ANOTHER... fun? What is FUN?

wow it sounds like you are having a hard time, i am like you i don't go on vacation anymore i haven't in awhile now...i hope that things start looking up...thanks or taking the time to read my discussion and reply!

I would love to go visit my family...they live 12 hours away from me...and gas is too expensive so I don't think it will happen this year...Although we would be staying with my family so we wouldn't have hotel expense...and we usually drive straight through.. Maybe next year....
