what's your common reasons to your parents when you came home late? |
|
I am a home buddy way back high school. my parents way back then were so strict and always check my schedule. so I really don't have the chance to go out with my friends after class.. and if ever there's no class.. I don't have any excuses to go out because they will always tell me that why the heck will I go out where there is no class?.. so there.. no gimmick moments during my high school days.. during my college days, if ever I will came home late, there's this "interview portion" with my parents on where did I go.. I always come up with these excuses.. " My best friend invited me to her house because her ___ celebrates its birthday." or " we made our project to our best friend's house.." as you've notice, my best friend should always be included on my excuses. because they trust my best friend so much, and that they are at ease whenever I am with my best friend.. guilt always kills me whenever I use my best friend's name, but of course, I will always inform my best friend that I will use her as my excuse.. she get mad sometimes, but of course, she always remind me to take care and not to go anywhere because she's responsible for whatever happens to me since my parents knows that I am with her.. I rarely go out during college since my parents were so strict, but whenever, I will use my best friend as an excuse. but of course, I know my limitations, and my responsibilities, so I wouldn't do anything to brake the trust of my parents to my best friend. but now, since I am on the right age, and that I already finish my studies, it's OK now for my dad, wherever I want to go, I just have to inform him so that he'll never get worried about me. how about you, share your funny excuses to your parents whenever you came home late when you were still young or when you were still a student.

4. jer31558 (2270) | 3 months ago | Though I am a bit old to worry about this and both of my parents have passed away, when I was younger I didn't have a problem with this. My parents knew where their children were pretty much all the time and when we would be home. I myself was a home body and liked to read more so than going places. They could find me most of the time around the house with a book and my nose buried in it.

5. chechuva (798) | 3 months ago | i would say parents are really natural paranoid about there children's whereabouts! i am not used in going out late back in my high school and college years. i always made a way to inform my mom where will i be after my class and i do not intend to go home late. my parents are not that strict about me going out with my friends. but when i go out in a date, that's the time they get strict on me. i am 24 years old but still they are very strict with me about dating. just last may, i went out with a guy. i said to my mom that im going to shop for a shoes at the mall. i went out 9 in the morning and i went home 1 am the following day! my mom was so worried that she called my siblings and asked for help to call me and find where i am. i didn't really heard my phone ringing. but the time i was about to go home. i checked my phone and saw 100+ missed calls and 25 text messages from my siblings and brother-in-law. honestly that was the worst thing i ever did to my mom. i made her so worried about me. i was so guilty. but when she asked me where did i go. i just said a friend invited me to a party! i think she believed me since she never asked me again about it... fortunately i have a mom who is very understanding!

6. rogue13xmen13 (5742) | 3 months ago | When I was in high school and I came home late, I would just say that I was at my friends house watching scary movies. I was not lying, we saw so many scary movies that we knew when the blood was going to come out of the guy in the next scene of the films. I would not know it now because I have seen so many other films, but I knew it then. Horror films are great when you are single and you have nothing to do on a Friday or Saturday night.

10. Monkeyrose (1136) | 3 months ago | The truth. My parents have always let me basically do what I want as long as I'm responsible and tell them where I am and what I'm doing. If I'm going to be home later I'll tell them or phone and let them know. SOmetimes I don't say all the details... but I'd basically say what I was doing.
