We were at a cookout recently, and I brough the fixins to make smores and there were people who had never had one and that included my kids and several others. So I set out to show everyone what they are. I perfectly cooked the marshmellows - not underdone, just brown but not burnt. Then I put them on top of the hersheys chocolate and of course between graham crackers. I was so excited - they always bring back memories of campouts, girl scouts and they are just so great that I knew everyone would love them and would be putting me up on their shoulders singing "she's the jolly good fellow" for my fabulous creation. So one of my kids just picked the chocolate out and they other said they didn't like it and my bubble was burst.

I know what the are! hehe
I just had them recently myself
and i ended up burning the hell out of my lip but it was well worth it..
I used to always make smores as a kid and anytime we had a camp fire or did something with fire we had smores and we had them even when we didn't have fires and stuff.
They are a great treat and very tastey... a little messy to make but really good.
Its a little shocking to me when someone says they don't know what smores are..
i thought everyone knew what they were lol but i guess not and i guess they aren't known all over the world either but they should be!
