How often do you scan ur computer?

How often do you scan your computer for viruses? and how often do you update your virus definitions?
It is recommended that you update your virus definitions at least once a week but i haven't been doing that nor have i scanned my computer for awhile.
My current antivirus program has stuffed up and it run anymore. Can anyone suggest a good antivirus program? I am currently using sunbelt counterspy.

Actually i dont need to scan my computer every day.Because i have eset nod32 antivirus which scans autoatcially everyday and tell me about the detials of scanning.So i dont need to worry about that.It automatically updates and get the latest virus threats in the database.So i am a bit relaxed to see the working of my antivirus.Although i run a manual scan every week.

Thats nice. I would do that too but i don't have a definite time of day when my computer is on. Do you keep your computer running all day?

i try to scan my computer for viruses about once a week since i am doing these paid sites. i try to keep my computer clean from viruses, since my b/f was good enough to give it to me.
