3.  thelastwolf113 (1905) | 3 months ago |  It's based on the graphic novle by Frank Miller. It's supposed to have that 'graphic novel' feel to it. All the sets were green-screen, so yes, I think it was all done in one area.
As far as working out goes, I saw an interview with Gerard Butler, he said he normally works out 2 or 3 hours a day, can't remember which, but I do remember him saying that the movie had trainers to work with them 4 hours a day. That's a lot of working out, no wonder everyone looked so good.

| 4. dsharat (178) | 3 months ago |  yeah..Its true...N that too they created the objects using sponges n all...the well at the starting..the fighting's etc...Do u know one thing..?Before shooting each n every shot,in the film they used to some exercise(like dips etc.,)..every thing else r graphics..u know dat..any how...the movie is awesome..they hav done a great job....!!

| 5. painkiller77 (1322) | 1 month ago |  some parts appeared to be animated. otherwise, for me 300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says: SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!

7.  likaes (319) | 1 month ago |  I think it was real, and its quite an impressive feat. The entire movie was made to look real. I once saw a comparison picture between two shots of the same scene at the same moment - one with the computer graphics added in, one without. They looked completely different except for the actors. The rocks were bare and dark and dull in one, and in the other, the sun shone on the rocks, making them glisten and glow in the backdrop of a sunset.
If this were true, it would have commanded immense concentration and acting ability for the actors. I mean, it'd be harder to act, if the scene around you didn't reflect what you were acting. The actors would have to imagine the scene around them and act at the same time, since the scenery would be added in later by computers.
