 I know this is a topic that pops up sometimes, but this is ridiculous! Either everyone is on vacation, has passed out from the heat, or myLot is once again messing up the email notifications when a friend posts a new discussion.
I haven't even received the myLot Digest today. Is this happening to everyone? To some? Is it just me? Am I being paranoid?
I lose points, then I lose a chunk of earnings, now I'm not receiving many emails at all. Hmmmm...
Can anyone shed any light on this? Has anyone been told by myLot that they are experiencing problems? Do you think it could be that they have reached their bandwidth allowance since this site has grown so fast? Help!

1.  darkblueverbatim (2112) | 4 months ago |  Mine stopped for some reason as well, I checked my notifications and after that everything seemed to be OK then. Some of my friends had started discussions and I had received responses so it wasn't because of inactivity. Guess that is computers for you, well that is what I am thinking.
When that happens if you go into your notifications it seems to fix the problem.
I've never subscribed to the myLot digest - what is in that?

 mentalward (2141) | 4 months ago | That is an email that myLot sends to everyone who has selected that box in "notifications". I consists of the top 10 discussions of the day before.
I went to notifications so, hopefully, I'll have the same luck you did.

It seems to go in 'cycles' I'll recieve a handful from certain friends, then a month or so later I'll recieve a different handful of friends posts. This has been going on for some time now. I even emailed myLot about this & they asked me for a list of friends I wasn't receiving, but nothing ever came of it...Lori

| mentalward (2141) | 4 months ago | Okay, thanks. So the best way to go about this is to simply click on 'started' or 'friends started' to get the latest. Is there any other way? I'd hate to receive a response to something I started and not respond to it because I didn't know about it!
Maybe that's just one of those things that we should always keep in mind when responding to any discussion. The original poster might not see it for awhile.
I sure hope myLot gets this fixed. It's frustrating! | |

By the way, does receiving mylot digest relate to earning? I haven't found this and how about yours?

All I know is that when I had one of my posts in the digest, I was overwhelmed with responses! It took me all day just to read them all! LOL | |

Although I thought I would pass out with the freakin' heat. Today was the worst. LoL. I was sweating the whole day. Not a good feeling. I haven't had any problems with Mylot though. I hope you get back your points and earnings. I don't know about the bandwidth allowance but yes, having a huge population, the links may be a bit flooded or so.

When I have doubts about getting all the emails, I'll just use the link above. I'll stop worrying about the money or points, too. My main reason for being here is the friendships, communication, sharing information, etc.
I'm so sorry for you dealing with this heat! I can't take too much time in the heat because I WOULD pass out. We had two days in a row of 99 degrees, one day was 96 and one day was 97. The high today was 94... whew! Relief! A regular cold spell! 
I'm not sure how it is where you live, but here I've noticed through the years that the hottest week in the year is always the third week in July. It certainly is true for this year!

Then booted in with maybe 30 coming in at one time, this morning I had 75 in the inbox.
Im sure your MYLOT has not switched incoming OFF, it may be just MYLOT what ever happened with me,

Im now out for about 4 hour, will be back on later xx.

Another friend of mine on My Lot has been experiencing the same thing. I have had my mails come in during the afternoon rather than overnight. Strange this sudden turn of events.

Other days it goes to my inbox but it comes late in the day.
I always get mine it is just a matter of where and when.

I already got a number of responses to my discussion but less than half of them were mailed to my inbox. It also goes to new friends discussions, and so on. Normally when we sign up for the my lot the eamil starts to come but some time there seems problem due to the change in setting in preferance and other so my suggestion is that just check there and there may be option which creates the email sending process to you email id . So you have to check that inside and then I hope your problem might solved if not send feedback to mylot administration.
