DJs won't let me listen to music on the radio...

It is next to impossible to listen to some radio shows or stations as the DJs just won't stop talking in between tracks, after every verse, after every chorus! Sometimes, you just want to chill, enjoy the tracks playing but the DJ will do so many Biggups!! - 'Biggups to Ray Ray, Mr P, Uncle Toni, DJ Bee and shout-outs to so and so and the list goes on..' throughout the songs then there's an ad and another song and more of that with some chopping of tracks and spins. This can be quite fun on a Friday night or Saturday night show (if you've had a bit to drink too) but on a normal day when you just want to unwind... It gets next to impossible to listen to some radio stations these days and it will be changing from one station to another before tuning out completely.. Have you experienced this? Isn't it quite ridiculous? or Quite hilarious?!

Hi! Im actually surprised that they are still on air. I mean we do have some radio stations that have the shoutouts, the commercials and the music but they dont interrupt songs just to say something. The program would go like this: the DJ will open the segment and then play some music and then say something, and followed by commercials, then some more shoutouts and text requests and then more music. Its like that so there's an allotted time for each activity. We do have some good stations that play music nonstop and there's just a recording of the hosts voice saying some quote, joke, reminder, her name, and the radio stations' name. Other than that and some few minutes of commercials its all songs. It is a bit ridiculous but I guess people have different tastes on how they want their music. I guess it just depends. Might as well just turn the dial to another good music station. Hope that helps, goodluck!^_^
