Where would you like to go in Scotland?  |

 If you were able to go to Scotland where would you go? I know that the place I would love to go is into the Mountains. I have always had an interest here and Ireland but, would not mix up the 2 of them.
I would love to see a castle and actually be able to explore it. My biggest dream is to be able to stay in one that has not been renovated to al the new age gadgets just to see what it would be like.

I, too, want to see a real castle, but I wouldn't want to see new age gadgets in it. I'd like to see them as is. Even ruins would be ok. I want to see stone circles too.

2.  maximax8 (10443) | 1 year ago |  I have only had one trip to Scotland so far in my life. I went with my sister to Edinburgh one Easter time and the weather was really cold. We traveled there and stayed at a youth hostel. The sights were amazing and it made me think that I would like to go back to lovely Scotland.
If I was to go back to wonderful Scotland I would like to do a tour of the islands, go on a steam train and climb one of the mountains. Scotland has some really beautiful castles and it would be dream like to stay in one of them. Once I stayed in a youth hostel that is an old castle and that is in lovely Germany.

| 4. overwings (3609) | 1 year ago |  I traveled only once to Scotland, and apart from the main cities in the south we did a two day trip to west, visiting Mull, Iona and Staffa which is a really impressing place. Staffa looks like a muffin to my eyes. That mass or rock standing in basaltic columns. All Scotland is as well full castles, many of them in ruins but still very romantic.
