fish or sea mammals getting struck by lightning?

it's not safe for us to be in water around electricity. what about fish, ducks, or mammals in water during and electrical storm? there are hot spots in the ocean where lightning is known to strike in open water. have you ever heard of water life being struck by lightning?

I never heard of sea animals struck by lightning.
Maybe that's true but in order to know that we should
monitor sea activity around the clock. In order to have
proofs. But just doing that is already dangerous. You are
in the water when lightning struck. That pose a serious
treat to our safety.

that is a very good point that if we monitored it closely, people would be at risk. perhaps if they would use equipment. but that would be costly.
