 I recently bought some Debbie Green bags because I buy a lot of fruits and veggies. For those who don't know what they are...They're green bags lined with a special type of clay thar absorbs the ethyline gas that produce lets off as it sits there. Thus, the produce should stay fresher longer.
When I learned how they work, I thought, "Won't the gas get trapped in the bag? How will they stay fresher longer, then?"
Bur I decided to give them a try anyway. I mean, they have to work or they wouldn't sell, right?
Well, BUYER BEWARE! The fruit did stay looking pretty much longer than it's original shelf life, but when I opened up the fruit, it was spoiled on the inside! All the fruit, veggies, and greens were wasted. And all the money I spent on the food and the bags, too! So I guess that verified my initial theory of trapped ethylene gas.
Seems like it's going to be another one of those fly-by-night make a quick buck schemes.
Has anyone else tried these bags? Did you get the same results or do you actually like them?

That is terrible, I would contact the customer service and tell them the waste their product created for you. At least try to get your money back or compensation for the loss in food. Food prices have gone too high to just brush it under the rug.
