another place is the Forbidden City in China.
there's a place in Thailand, in Kanchanaburi where tame tigers roam around with monks. oh yes, they are really tame:) you should check it out!

4.  applefreak (1417) | 3 months ago |  firstly i'd like to welcome you to asia. there are so many countries in asia that has everything you like. there are of course china and japan. there are also cambodia, thailand and vietnam. you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to travelling in asia. i've been to china and japan but i will definitely visit again. in fact, i've been to japan four times and it's still not enough. china is also another country where there are simply too many places to see that one or two months might not suffice. it's really a tough choice but i'd say china will be one of the best, if not the best, place to see asia. cheers;p

If you like beach, top places are Thailand, the Philippines and the Maldives. For historical sites, it should be China, you should visit the Great Wall of China at least once in your life, Cambodia for its Angkor Wat and India. I believe China would be the total package because it has great fantastic sceneries everywhere and lots of historical sites. It is a huge country so you need to plan where you want to go.
