fake people!

Ok, my pet peeve is people who are fake...I am not saying people who may not say exactly how they feel at all times, for the sake of others, but I mean those who are completely one way around some people, and the opposite around others, people who try to fit in the mold of the people they are around. FAKE people! They irritate me and I was just wondering, have you encountered people like that? What do you do about it? Stop being around them? Tell them? Just curious.

I can say a big Amen to that. I despise fake people as well. 
I don't understand why people can't just be themselves. I can understand if you are younger and you are trying to find out who you are and whatnot, but at this stage in our lives we ought to not act like that. I met this girl my freshman year in college that acted one way and then another. I dont even think I knew who she truly was. I tend to shy away from people like that. Yes, I did stop hanging out with her. If I don't truly know someone, how can I call them a friend? It just wouldn't work.
