If a friend of yours stops talking to you because someone else told them to, and then that friend came back and wanted to begin again as if nothing ever happened, would you let it go? sad Here's the situation:I have (or had) a friend. This friend is married but seeing another person as if that person was their spouse. Because this other person didn't want me to go back to the actual spouse, they advised my supposed friend to stop talking to me and hanging out with me. And thus, for almost a month, I lost my friend.
I know what you're thinking; how did I find out. Well that's another story. yawn

I wouls have to really think about it, I think I would just have them as a casual friend if there is such a thing...I have been let down by a few of my friends of late so I came to the conclusion I am just going to treat them as one of many and not have any one or two special friends...sad but that seems to be the way of the friendship thing these days...

I agree with you! A casual friend is something I never thought about. It would be one of those friends that I only hang out with or talk to when I have nothing better to do. I think this would be better for me. I've discovered that I must think more about myself and less about others from this experience. It's harsh, but it's life.

Thing is a true friend wouldn't of allowed someone to tell them not to talk to their friend. If your friend was or is having an affair what makes them think you are or would be the only one that knows. These things have away of getting out no matter what. Depends on how close you were. I have let things like that go and talked to them but it's like this do it to me once okay forgiven you can't help it if you had a stupid moment and cheated on your spouse and listened t the idiot you were cheating with tell you who you can and can not talk to ya I forgive you. Do it again just don't ask cuz the answer is no!

You hit the nail on the head with this one. This person was cheating, and the spouse found out. thumbup

I would've forgiven my so-called friend, but this isn't the first time. I've caught this person in many lies and even found out that this person has talked bad about me.

I guess it's over......I'm still thinking about this causal friend thing, but I think it is best to think more about me than anyone else. sad

That hurts! Even though I feel like I'm better without the BS, it still hurts. The bad thing is that she had the nerve to say that it was my problem and I was doing something wrong.
