What inspires you to start a discussion

Hi,

When I start a discussion, it is usually about something in my life, someone in my life, something going on in my life, something going on in the world, or about my dogs. lol

I come up with ideas in the weirdst of places. Discussion ideas have popped into my brain in the car while I was driving (I keep a pad of paper and pen in my purse for this purpose), when I'm watching tv, from other discussions or even while I'm in the bathroom.

You never know when something might pop into my brain. LOL

Usually I will start a discussion based on a movie I have seen,or something that has happened,or I might see a discussion that my fiance or someone else has done,that will give me an idea for a discussion to do,and also my fiance will give me ideas for discussions,just like I always try to give her ideas for discussions whenever I think of something that she might like to do a discussion on,but sometimes it is hard to find inspiration for discussions,and that is why I do not start a lot of discussions, and instead spend most of my time responding to people.

As I am in the process of attempting the discussions at mylot the mind will be in a very active mood,and in this process something strikes and spontaneously something comes in my mind which turns in the fashion of a discussion which appears on my lot.I am not able to describe the enjoyment which I am getting through mylot. This has really changed me a lot.Getting acquainted with so many strangers who become friends. It is totally a new world for me.

Well, for me, I always keep my Discussions based on personal things going on in my life, or things that seem to be going on around the world as well. I find that even when I am found responding back to others New discussions they have started, if I can relate with them more, then I can respond back to them. But overall, I still prefer responding back to people's discussions more starting my own.

I haven't really started that many discussions. I feel sub conscience when I do, so I don't do it very often. I'm always afraid someone is going to hate me for whatever reason. Anyway, when I have started discussions they usually surround what I did that day or what I'm feeling.

I usually stick to responding to discussions. I'm not a really big fan of starting them anymore. I figure it's best keeping topics active and not starting something that's already been posted or discussed by someone else. Sure, you're not going to get a best response out of it if it's already been worked over, but what's the point of beating the same topic to death when multiple posts already exist?

I'm going to tend to post new discussions only when I can't find anything else currently about whatever my topic is. That way, I'm not contributing to the massive amount of pointless topics, and I'm contributing to something that others are actually going to spend time reading.

Many of my previous discussions comes from inspiration from newspaper articles. When a subject is approached in the local or international news, this is the easiest way for me to start a new discussion.

I have not started new discussions for some time. Looks like I got to get back to do so.

a lot. i sometimes hear a line in the movie or tv show i am watching then i right it down and sometimes i can make a good discussion out of it. friends topic can be a good topic of discussion too. personaly problems, ranting and almost everything about life can be a good discussion. a story from my children that i hear while they are eating can be a good discussion at mylot as well. anything to everything i can say
