Blogging, Who does it and how do you get paid

Many people do blog for money. How it is done is up to each individual's style.
For example, I put online advertisements on my blog. When people clicks on them and read, I will be paid by the companies which I am affliated to.

Some bloggers would promote their products and services online. This is another way to earn money too.

I know that you get paid for writing on Yuwie, but it is not much and you have to keep it open all the time so someone can see it, and I know there is another site, but do not know it's name. As for what you write about, what are you mainly interested in. Now for me, I love to write, so I write about writing and give hints on how to start writing fiction. So supposing you love travel, then you will write about travel.
Think of blogging as writing about something you love, giving information, etc. If you go to Google.com, and google blogging, you will see examples of sites and what others write about.

Well...ya..blog marketing and earning is depending on the freshness and the quality of content..unlike other sites like ptc....there is a substantial creativity required in this...the best gets paid more...not the more hardworking....

You can try squidoo. You can make money by bringing visitor to your page, more money from sharing revenue from adsense and advertising placed by Squidoo or you can make money from selling products in your page. They definitely and automatically paid as soon as you received minimum $10 to you paypal.

The only blog I do is a business blog (music publishing, not about marketing) and we have it set up with AdSense and also we're an Amazon affilite. I've seen a lot of blogs that are affilites for a lot more places. I assume that's the biggest way... ads and affiliate links/banners where you get a percentage of what someone orders, or get paid per click.

i have just started getting into blogging, but i still a beginner with it.. getting adivs where i can when needed.. gradually building it up.
At moment i find it very handy to hold all sites i use.
Before when i would register with different money earning sites, it can get so confusing as to which ones they were and finding them again or scattered in your bookmarks or on paper lool taking for ever just to open them up.

so. as i registered to any earning sites i instantly get the referral banner code and add it to my blogger
That way each day all i do is open my blogger, click on all the banners, then start doing the pay to click ads on them all while i am in here also if one i find is bad, or scam and so on, just delete from the blogger instantly..

so even if you do not get referrals from a blogger, its stil quite useful for yourself, even just to add all your favorite sites you like to use and cant always remember the url

Hmm, I'd say most of the methods to make money blogging involve advertising, usually with Google Adsense. It'll probably be slow at first, since you'd need to get your blog well-known. The fastest way to start blogging is probably to sign up at blogger--you wouldn't have to worry about setting up blogging software (such as Wordpress) on your own host.

As for what you want to write about...it's probably best to stick to a topic that interests you. As long as you can write interesting and useful smatterings about the topic, it should be fine.

Advertising your blog is probably a good idea, whether you join a blogging network or just recommend your friends to the site.

I agree with whoever said for her to write on a topic she loves and the ads will get clicked. If she gets 10000 visits to her blog and gets only 1% to click an ad then that's 100 a day if she has fresh content everyday. If she adds an ad that pays per impression that's at least 10000 views.

In my opinion it is much better to find a blog that offers RSS Feed in lieu of finding one that pays since she does have a talent and can draw in her own audience. She doesn't have to rely on being paid just to put words in a space.:)

If you look above her on MyLot they have a tab for blogs. Maybe check that out and with your combined talents you can make cashout here quicker by your wife managing the blog portion in your account. Unless you have a way not to have duplicate accounts here that is:/
