Our Messenger was telling me this morning that it seems to him that he is not well compensated in his job. He said he is so tired but his salary is not even enough to last till the next salary day and told me he wants to demand a salary increase. Well, I told him he should direct his demands to the Big Boss so that that issue will be resolved. Life is hard really today and lots of people are complaining so if he could prove to the Big Boss that he is worth the increase then I think he could get what he wants.
How about you, do you think you are well compensated in your job?

well yeah for me im receiving a good pay for my job but still its not enough coz im the bread winner of my family, we're just 3 in the family, my mom, grandma & me. Im the one who's making money to support our daily life, & i dont have any siblings to help me regarding financial problem. but glad my uncle is helping us sometimes.. my cousin is working so hard, ot's, overnight, weekends but she is not well compensated in fact her salary is less than my boss' maid.. she's receiving 3,500 on the 15th & 2,500 on the 30th imagine that.. she's a regular employee but her take home pay is almost 6,000. she's just waiting for her fiance to come back here in the philippines then she'll leave the company..

I'm glad you are well compensated! Well no matter how big is the salary, it seems that a bread winner always finds it hard to make both ends meet. And I can't imagine a P6,000 a month for your cousin? What a pity! She really should think of alternative way to earn better. It's a good things she has her fiance as her saving grace! Tsk! Tsk!

No, I'm not compensated well. I'm just working in a small school and what they give me is less than the minimum pay so I can say that I work just to help them. I am also overloaded with subjects and the number of teaching hours. I teach from 6:45-5:30pm. I have my lunch around 3pm. I just have the time to eat during recess time and I think that's too much. Good thing they gave English 4-6 to another teacher and I just teach English 1-3, Computer 1-6 and MAPEH 1. Just 10 preparations... but still my husband doesnt approve of this and he wants me to get out of that job. The thing is I am committed to the school, even if we dont have a written contract.

There are pros and cons to my job. The best thing is that I HAVE a job, so I shouldn't complain so much...
HOWEVER, since we're on that topic: My job provides very good benefits to both part-time and full-time workers. My job isn't that hard (bank teller) but if we cash one bad check sometimes it's hello to unemployment because there is a chance we'll be fired. The pay isn't that great, but I am hanging in there.
As many people stated, times are hard right now, and people should be grateful they even have a job because many do not.

That's the right spirit. You should really be grateful because despite everything you have a job while so many others don't. I wish you all the best in your job. God bless!

lots and lots of people, employees are complaining that what they get from their jobs are not enough now that we are in crisis. i maybe one of these people receiving less compensation that what we need to live better. but what can we do, nothing, we are in crisis. if we all are given salary raise by our employers, then probably more people will suffer. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

Oh really! I hope you get what you deserve in due time. Even if we are in crisis, Employers should give what their employees need to get in accordance with law.

i had to quit work 3 years ago due to health problems. i was self-employed so all i did was work my fanny off but didn't have to put up w/any bull from a boss. don't like to be bossed. lol i don't think alot ofpeople are treated right at their workplace any more.i think it's really bad when they want let you work enough hours to get health insurance & other benefits.if u are a good worker u should be compensated for it.

You are right many people in the workplace are not well compensated and I'm so sorry for them. There are so many greedy businessmen who care less for their people without minding that if not for them, their business won't be running that well.
Well better be self-employed and be your own Boss just like you! Cheers!

NOPE!!! even if my company loves me, I really find my job wotrhy. It just pays me 8-7USD for 10 hours everyday. And It can't even cope the expenses in reality world.
Hope I can be successful in earning online so that i can quit to my job and be my own boss.

Too bad! Then go find another job! I think online earning will not earn as much as you believe. The online earnings are just side earnings. Anyway, I believe there are worthy jobs out there. You just have to search.
