Songs are easier to memorize than studies?? Right

This is so true! I just graduated from college last December, so I have done a lot of studying, and it is really hard to memorize stuff from a textbook or from class notes! I wish I had a photographic memory! That would make life so much easier! Also, I'm a singer.. and I find that I pick up songs like I like, or songs that are really catchy, really fast. Usually it only takes a few times hearing a song for me to really know it, sometimes only once, and sometimes more. It really depends, but it definitely is much easier than memorizing stuff for a test!

That's also because songs have rhymes. That makes it much easier to memorize. Like nursery rhymes! Hehehehehe.

You are correct. Songs are easier to remember than lessons. You have a point there with the fact that songs have a tune that is easily stored in our brain. Our brain has a certain function that accepts tune easily and stored for a longer time. Our lessons are not fun, we perceive it as work not as pleasure hat is why it is very difficult to remember.

i really agree,,,i even remmemer my teacher teach us to hum a tune if we are in reviewing oor studying alone...he says that i is like composing a song but the lyrics are all in the subject you are studying in..well i tried it in science esp biology since i am having a hard time memorizing the classification of species (class mamalia, animalia, plantae etc..) and i should commend him it worked so i did it again in memorizing the periodic table...my classmates find it crazy sometimes but hey they actually ask me to tech them the song lols..
