I know seems a very funny question, but have you ever experienced the feeling that you know more than your doctor? I actually do not believe in doctors, of course if I need a surgery or something like that what can I do, right? But for visits, etc, is a NO NO for me! What about you?

First I think that most people expect that doctors are something more than the scientist that they are. As they expect them to be miracle workers or something.
Doctors are only as smart as the patient. They can only diagnose based on the symptoms that you give them. If you go to the doctor and tell them that you have a problem with your head, don't expect them to examine your stomache. Basically the only thing that they can do is take the symptoms that you give them and classify the information to first give your problem a name and second to treat your problem through some type of prevention or treatment. Through basica exams they are able to dectect some potential problems or problems that you don't yet have symptoms for.
But as for the feeling that you know more than your doctor, you should! Its your body, who better to know whats going on with it?
