What is your favorite Drink (alcohol)?

Hi All, I was just thinking about to have a drink which is good for cough and cold, as my friend suggested that brandy is good to get relief from cough and cold, i am fedup from taking all those medicine.. and want instant relief from this headache, I have heard that wine is also one of the best.. i have never thought of drinking but this question came across. should i try this to get rid of cough and cold? will i get addicted to it? Why do people drink alcohol? is it for fun or to get relief form tension? Do you drink to enjoy? then what is your favorite drink and why?

I personally choose not to drink alchol. Even in it's simplest forms I think it can be a expensive bad habits. So many things to drink that are better for you. I understand that some people like the flavor and how it makes you feel when you have a buzz per say. But I think that their are other ways to achieve the same results.
But to each his/her own. It's my choice. Your choice etc.
