I love public speaking. And very often we are called upon to make public speech, what do we have to take notice if we want to be more excellent in public speaking? I will take part in a speech contest in September, and my goal is to go to the final contest in the Province.Hep,help,I'll keep my fingers crossed!

It is great that you can speak in front of the public like you do. I know I can not do this for I have a fear of standing in front of people knowing all eyes are on me I freeze up and get all nervious inside. I had to do this in high school once for a school project and stand up in front of the class and give my oral presentation. I was so nervious let me tell you but I got through it and was I ever glad when it was all over. I think it you have nothing to worry about for you like to do this kind of thing and I think you will make it to the top and go for the final contest in Province. I do wish you the best of luck and may you win. :)

Thank you very much, dear friend. Stage-fear can be couquerd if you again step into a first try,and maybe you will like the feeling of public speaking and then ask for more speeches. My topic is "1+1=2?". Can you give me some precious suggestions? Thank you for your kindness.Take care.

Oh I love public speaking! The trick is to not get nervous. If you wear glasses and can see slightly (very slightly) blurred images without them, try not wearing them when you speak. That way, you can make it seem like you're looking at people eyes and talking which you won't be doing. Also, it won't give you the jitters that so many people are looking at you because you won't be able to see them clearly. But then if you have to read out of something, then not wearing your glasses is a stupid idea. If you know the topic before hand, try doing as much research as you can over it. Or better, prepare a specimen speech and learn it well. That way, if you forget something or get scared on stage, you can have some sort of backup. All the best!

Dear ,shake hands,we have the same interest. Yeah the state of mind really makes a big difference when we make speech,so let's breath deeply.I do not wear thick spectacles, but i do wear contact lens, eye-contact is relly necessary and important when speech begins cause it embodies respect and self-confidence.I think smile is also essential cause it shows your inner natural feelings. My topic is "1+1=2?". Can you give some precious suggestions?Thank you very much.
