My fourth grade teacher made me write a certain way! | | When I was in the 4th grade, my teacher made everyone hold there pencil a certain way. I didn't see any point in that at all. When ever she would see any of us holding our pencil the opposite way she made us change the way we were holding it. I have seen people hold there pens or pencils with their thumb and pointer on the pen. I have also seen people hold the pen with their middle finger on it also. I don't see a problem with either one. I feel like either one is fine. I hold my pen with my pointer and my thumb and that is it. I don't even remember which way the teacher was making us hold the pencils. I just want to know what are your thoughts about this?

I can kind of understand her not wanting you to color the flower a certain color, but like you said you even saw a blue flower. I guess she was trying to teach you that certain things are certain colors.
