3. danishcanadian (14678) | 3 months ago | Have you tried sleeping only a few hours, lately? Maybe your change in wakefullness has more to do with age than it has to do with the amount of sleep you atually get. It was the same way with my husband when he was younger. Now, he also has a much more demandig job, so that has to do with making him tired.

4. Xdrowninghavocx (3059) | 3 months ago | I could never do the 3 to 4 hour thing. Sometimes I do only because there are times when I can't sleep. Everybody is different so I'm not surprised to hear about this. You just have to find a sleep schedule that works for you and you only. If you feel twice as awake when you sleep 3 to 4 hours then continue with that.

6. Opal26 (2398) | 3 months ago | Hey shell, I know what you mean. I stay up late too. I find sometimes the less sleep I get the better I feel. If I sleep too much I seem to feel worse and have more trouble waking up. I'm not on a rigid schedule right now because I'm not working and an on temporary disability. I start my day when I feel like it. I leave my apartment around 3:30 for my rehab program and get back around 8:00pm so my schedule is off. Then I find that I can't sleep so I stay up late and hang out on mylot!

| 8. bubunyellow (22) | 3 months ago | hi shelly.how r u? .i got you from mylot.you have really put an intersteing topic that "HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH".OK i have something to tell about this paradox.actually matter is it has not been decided by any standardised mesurement. It depends upon the person who is currntly in work and how much he/she waqnts.for an example each and every person in this world wants more and more money.there is no limitation of this.similarly the more we want the more it will grow.ther is no limitation of human wanting.though we might have already have got the amount to satisfy our need but still it is the nature of an humanbeing to get more and more.so do'nt you thing my friend that HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH has one and only answer that is INFINITE IS TOO MUCH?????

| 9. Greeneacres (30) | 3 months ago | I feel like I understand where you are coming from... I am currently a college student and my normal patter is to go to sleep around 1 in the morning because there is always something going on till then and then I wake up around 8 and just go to class, but as time is going on and I now have a different schedule and I don't have my first class till 10, yet I still feel just as tired when I wake up. I can't really explain it other than a change in amounts of sleep. Even in High School I would go to bed at midnight and wake up at 6 to get ready and then I was still more awake. I believe that when your body gets into a pattern it becomes restless when its usual time is altered. And I also believe that age has a huge amount to do with it. Your body gets fatigue alot quicker and it needs alot longer to recover. Similar to an old laptop battery... that older it is, that longer it takes to charge and the shorter life span it has on that charge. That is my opinion. I bet someone with a higher knowledge on the subject has already informed you of the right reason, but I felt I should throw in my own pretty penny. Hope you find the answer you are looking for and sleep tight... hah
