Green Grapes and Red Grapes! |
|
So I've always liked eating grapes but just lately I have discovered that I've fallen in love with green. Most of the time I would have rather just had the red because I think that the green ones are a bit more sour. Well I just had my graduation party and my mom bought these really tiny green grapes. And they are AMAZING. It's hard to find them here though. I think my mom just got them outta fluke I think. I mean she knew about them but she picked them up because she liked them. lol. But i dunno. I wish they were here in Illinois ALL the time cuz those little things rock my socks. Anyone know wheres a good place to look for them at??

1. sunshinelady (5462) | 3 months ago | Out of all the different kind of grapes I think the green ones are the best. Once in a while I have gotten sour ones but most of the time I get nice sweet ones. So you are in Illinois. So am I. Talk about a small world huh.

| NoddaProbBob (78) | 3 months ago | Im not sure why. But yea. most the green grapes I remember to have eaten seem to have been sour. Thats why I normally prefer red. Well then. It really is a small world. Where abouts are you from if you dont mind me asking? Northern Illinois here. Rockford area.=]

3. trishasantos (623) | 3 months ago | I really dont know in your place. But here in the Philippines, I usually find one in the market. I love grapes, I love both red and green grapes. Grapes does not grow here in my country(that is what I know... lol), but I always want one. But its expensive here, so its really nice when someone gives or buys me some grapes. Oh, and it's even good for your heart.:)

| NoddaProbBob (78) | 3 months ago | I didn't know that they were good for the heart. I guess you DO learn something new everyday. lol. Im sorry to hear that you cannot get grapes regularly at your disposal. It's interesting to hear of people that don't live in the U.S. and dont have all the same things that we do. But I guess it must be a field day when you get to have your grapes! I could really go for some right now. I'm kinda hungry.=] But I dont think we have any. I do hope that you get some soon though!

4. brimia (6166) | 3 months ago | I don't know if I've tried tiny green grapes you're talking about...I've had the large ones. I love red, green, and black grapes (really dark purple). My dad grows some little green ones that he makes juice and wine with. Sometimes farmers markets are a good source for produce that isn't in grocery stores. If there's one near you maybe ask around or even ask the produce guys at the grocery store, they might have an idea.
