She has to look into the reality of life..because it's relationship or marriage is not just a week's matter, she will have to spend the rest of her life with him.
If he is really in love with her then he should take the initiative and talk to his parents and make them understand the depth of the situation at hand.
If he succeeds in convincing them, then i do not think that she should have any problems in convincing her parents.

LOVE IS BLIND.......
BUT...that is what leads us into a lot many problems......so before falling into love always know the other person fully and then fall in love....
