I think Envy and Money are the root of evil. Do you agree?

Money is hardly the root of all evil. The blindingly insatiable desire for absolute power is perhaps a more qualified candidate. Greed would be a shoe in for second place. While money may seem the root of all evil to many, it behooves them to take a moment to define evil, and more importantly, the inevitable nature of money in modern society and throughout civilization.

money is not the root of all evil... it's the "Love of Money"... in the Bible, particularly in 1 Timothy 6:10, it states that "for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil..." for it comes hunger for power, that comes with being rich. Money is just a thing/ object. there's nothing wrong with it. but when it comsumes you to have more than what you have (monetary wise), then it becomes evil. here, you will do everything to acquire it even evil things!

I dont know if money can 100% be root of evil or not but envy is. Many people might not be influenced by money, but envy does influence a lot.

I want to talk about money. I don't think money is root of evil. Money is just an object which cannot become the root "consciously". Then why there are so many evil things happening because of it? The answer is human beings. The reason why money is symbol of evil in many people's mind is that human beings use it to do bad things. Many people are greedy for it and even commit crimes, but that does not mean money is bad; instead, it means these people are bad. So I say money is nothing to do with the root of evil. Whether it is "kind" or not depends on the mentality of users.

Yeah,i agree with you.There are seven deadly sins in this world.They are called,envy,sloth,pride,wrath,lust,greedy,gluttony.
