I don't think you understood the question.
If you want to add friends on myLot, simply click on their profile and then on the button that says 'add as a friend'.
Since you're new, you might benefit a bit by reading the articles I wrote about how to navigate myLot. The link is on my profile.

That user will see a number (that indicates how many users requested him as a friend and that he has to approve those requests) next to "friends". When your request gets approved by that user, you will be notified through email about it.
