Are u afraid of driving?

Sorry to hear about that...I personally am not afraid to drive...LOL, but what I AM afraid of is other people and the way they drive. I am so afraid that either some one drunk, texting or simply not paying attention will hit me and wreck my car or hurt my loved one's inside. I live in Texas and our accident rate here is through the roof.. I think we have one of the highest in the country, not to mention the insurance rates are higher here than in most large cities. I do have a few relatives and friends who won't get on the freeway to save their lives. They literally can not bring themselves to drive on any of our highways.

i am 24 y/o and my experience regarding driving is just horrible..i have made many accidents in the last few days..first i hit on the road divider and next tym i hitted on the door of my home..now i am trying to get some more control over my driving..lets see who will be my next victim..

I have no experience about driving. I don't know how to drive and I don't think I'll be learning how to drive anytime soon. I don't like cars and I can't afford one so I find no reason to learn how to drive.

I got my license when I was 16, as is customary here. My parents were huge worriers, and I don't know if they are the reason or not, but I had a horrible fear of driving. I always did drive in the small town I live in, and in the surrounding small towns, but driving in the city was out of the question. I was 37 when I went to college, and I finally had to start driving in the city where my school was located. I dare drive there now, but not in other bigger cities, and I am really scared when I have to drive in places I am not familiar with. I get better, the more I do it, but doubt I will ever love it.
