There is this Telephone Company that charged me for just ringing my mobile phone,i misplaced it and i guessedit was inside the house, although i did not allow it to go into the answering machine before i cut the line off.I did this servral times but i did not realise that the company was charging me for that,at the end of the month they charged me heavily for that and i will never forget this,is this normal?

What the? That is so not fair. You must report it. But then, you misplaced it so you did a wrong move too. But that is unfair. You should report it immediately so that you could file for a rebate. But then, I'm not good at those things. Maybe someone here can enlighten you further.

You didn't get my points,i misplaced it inside the house and i called the number later to know wher exactly it was, once it rang,i cut off the line and went straight to the place where i heard the ringing from, ofcourse i found it always. It never ever entered the voice mail for once but they charged me for all those call, even though it never entered the voice mail.

Oh, I'm sorry I got it all wrong. I thought the charge was on the misplaced phone. Anyways it's a missed call so it still shouldn't be charged to you.

Of course this is not normal. By the look of it it seems to me that they are extorting you. They should only charge you for the actual time your phone is connected. Have you complaint to them? May be ask them for a more reasonable answer why they charge you for that.

Thanks, they always have a reason and at the end of the day ,you will be paying more because to call them, you have to pay heavily as well and they might have to put you on a hold for a long time.
