Would you make your cat a web page?

The other day I made web pages for each of my four cats - but it was sort of unintentional. LOL What I was going for was an application that would let me post pictures of each cat on my Myspace page. I installed the UnitedCats app, and the next thing I knew I was filling out info on each cat and each one got their very own web page. It's like a social site for cats, they can get friends (other cats) and send each other virtual gifts and get pets from the people who visit their page. I know, it sounds really silly and I guess it kind of is. But I did get what I was originally driving at for my MySpace page. You can see them there then click on the united cats link and set it up for your own cats if you like (I don't think you actually need a MySpace account to do this because it's a standalone site.) www.myspace.com/philjas

Oh my goodness...JUST what my two kitties need....another website for them...LOL. wow..I've never heard of united cats and have bookmarked it..I have websites for my cats with Purina's website, Catstar, even have a blog that I'm slowly but surely writing about the "history" of just about all my kitties from the very first one I got when I was only five and a half years old. Catstar has something similar to united cats...can give virtual treats and send messages between cats there...ever hear of it?

i have two cats, pinky and blacky. they don't deserve websites. they are bad cats, lol! just kidding, i do love them, but they can be SO misbehaved at times. if i did make them a website, i certainly wouldn't be buying their ungrateful butts any virtual gifts, lol! just last night at work i was telling my coworkers of all the headaches these beautiful cats cause me. if i didn't love them so much, deep down, i might just have to let them run away! just kidding. they have the faces of little angels, but the personalities are a little off the wall at times. i do know this girl who makes websites for her pets religiously. now, not only does she make online websites for them...she joins online message boards so that her pets can meet up on the webcam for hours on end and have virtual playdates with other pets from around the world. now tell me that isn't a bit bizarre! haha.

Oh you don't buy virtual gifts for your OWN cats, you buy them for other people's cats! I've given a few, and my cats have gotten a few.

That sounds like such a sweet idea, and I have actually pondered doing the same thing with my cat, as I love her so much and at times feel she's truly my best friend. I checked out that page, as I had never heard of it or seen it before, and there are so many beautiful cats there... every page looks so adorable, especially the photos and the cats' different characteristic ratings. I am a cat lover so anything centered around kitties is sure to please me...

That is so cool! I once made a Friendster Page for my kitten, but as she grows old to be one beautiful cat, I forgot to update it. She's now up in heaven, but she has left behind two cats who are parents as well, and currently, we have two more kittens. I want to put up a blog for them, but my hands are so full that the only way I can tell the world about them is through the posts I make from my own blog. Hopefully in time I can open a site for them like the one you mentioned. It sounded like a good idea.
