Who has higher tendency to be jealous? Men or women?

I think it appears women are more jealous but i feel that is hust because women have better instincts than men and they pick up on things where men don't...but i also feel once it is put there in front of a man his jealousy is far more intense than a womans

It's always been me. I'm a very jealous type of person.
I can't stay long watching my lover speak with other
person on opposite gender. Or else I will be nasty and
interfere with their conversation. I know my attitude
suck.

Most female friends of mine are the jealous type, its maybe because women are more emotional than men, and are more vocal when it comes to their feelings. But I know from some male friends that they do get jealous too when it comes to their wives or girlfriends, only that, the feeling is more deeper for them, and most are not inclined to discuss it with their partner. Its the male ego, I suppose. As for me, I don't get jealous easily. Am the more "get to know the facts first" type of woman.
