Wonderful! It is nice to know even we live in rented house me and my hub are planning to buy a house with in next 6 months, I know we have to save a lot and plan for it but we are keeping this in prayers and I am sure God will make this plan perfect and he helps us in purchasing the new house. Well, if you are seriously considering buying your own place someday, you need to start checking in to what it would take to purchase a house, the amount of $$ you might need for a down payment, and figuring out a way to start saving up some for it, and go from there. Since you would be a First time home buyer, there are a lot of advantages to go with that as well. And there are a lot of advantages Tax wise when you buy a home compared to renting as well, and a lot of times buying a place can be cheaper than renting as well, and as an investment you cannot loose as well.

You have a very nice future plan. Many among us ( like me ) wanted to have their own house. We'll, we started buying a lot ( 120 sq mtrs ), that was our first step made. After a couple of years saving money, we then started our house construction, step by step and after one year we do completed the first floor of our dream house. Since it is not yet completed because it is a two story house, we have make sure that the first floor is completed already, after one and half year, we then transferred into our new house with one floor only, until now it is not yet completed but we are happy since we are living in our house right now. I have a target of 2 to 3 years from now, it will be completed. hopefully.
