yesterday night after we retired for the day , suddenly i was woken up by the abrupt noise of crackers. the noise increased every second or so and so was the light effect of it and soon i realised that it was going beyond the level i could have stood it!! and i came out in a bit of anger; and my GOD what i saw was a strange sight. just where my car was parked , it was from the ground . it was a fire broke out between two ground cables!! and it appeared to be taking every thing under its clout! sensing trouble , first thing i did was remove my car and park it at a different , safer place , in the mean while many neighbors collected and some one dialled for the police, the electricity people and the fire department. luckily , there was a heap of sand , near the site and the watchmen poured enough of it and helped in controlling the cracking fire!! luckily no one was hurt and there is a big market nearby and the shops were closed!! had it gone unnoticed there was a big fire in the offing. but ultimately all was ok . but what a risk it was, and ...still my mind goes to .. it all starts small and many an unfortunate have it ....all over the globe . did any one of you has gone thru something like this ?

Thankfully, no. But it is ill-advised for ANYONE to go NEAR LIVE POWER LINES!!! Even at some distance, they can be charging the ground and cause YOU to be electrocuted! Is your vehicle MORE IMPORTANT to you than your own LIFE? Next time... although it likely will never happen again... call "911" FIRST.. and stay as FAR AWAY from the lines as possible!!!!

No, it never happen to me but there were many things even worser than that i had experienced that i could guarantee how kind the Lord is.He's been always there for me during my trying times and i know He will always here to guide me.I thank Him for the wonderful life He has given to me inspite of the struggles that i had been through.

in michigan we had an ice storm and all night long the sky was lit up with power lines snapping. i got up out of bed and watched all the balls of light in the sky that went on for hours. we were without electricity and heat in freezing weather for 8 and 1/2 days. it was rough but we survived.
