Lately, I have noticed, my eldest is having bad dreams frequently.
We sleep in the same room and could hear him moaning on the other side.
He usually calls me while still dreaming as if to save him from whatever it is that is haunting him..
So, I would get up fast and wake him up gently.
When he's finally awake, I'd give him some water and ask him if he can still remember his dream. Embracing him while he's gathering his thoughts. Assuring him that whatever it was, i would be by his side..If he remembers it, and cannot go back to sleep yet, we'll talk about it. Sometimes, he just wanna lie there and wait for sleep.I never leave his side until I know he's fast asleep.
Sometimes, I worry because his dreams are becoming more frequent. At times, he doesn't wanna even talk about it in the morning because he was still scared.
So, how do you deal with this? What Do You Do?
