Does swearing get to you?

It gets to me. To an extend sometimes i dont even reply back to people or automatically become cold towards them.
I dont like swear word. It kind of makes me sick. But people around me say that in this world of today, you're crazy if you cant get used to it.
What is your opinion?

It gets to me too. Fail to understand why people swear when conveying information becomes so much easier without it.. Emphasis, they say. Heck.
