do you know how to speak spanish?

i'm learning spanish now coz i believe that spanish is like our language, tagalog. when my friend is talking about spanish, i understand some of it, but some are not. so i'm asking him to teach me spanish in exchange of teaching him english. habla y entiendo español pero solo el basico, so if you are willing to teach me spanish, well i'll be happy about it

Yes I do,I've learned it by watching spanish movies on television..the soap operas,to be more exact..They didn't have a spanish subtitles but somehow my brain kind of guessed how the words are spelled and I was right most of the times, and now I speak to spanish people on the internet and they ask me if I live in Spain ..lol..so I guess my writing is just fine. The same happened with italian,I used to watch Sailor Moon cartoons on Italia uno...an italian tv program,and somehow I just understood what they were saying.. this time was different from the spanish movies because those ones were subtitled in my language,and that's how I've learned the meaning of the words,but with italian it just came natuarlly.
