there is a problem in my friends computer and i've tried everything even help in one brazilian forum but the last things that have to do is to re-install the windows but before that i want to know if someone have the answer to the question.
the point is he was surfing on net and all folders close and do not want to open anymore. when him close everthing disappear and appear some time later.
like i said i've trying one forum and the admin said the possible virus was one called by showreports or shoppereports something like this.
anyone has the answer?

i am pretty sure it is an trojen hourse virus it can be moslty dected by many of the top virus protectors for example norton macafee and for free version avg. if it only detects the virus but does not alow it to dealted by the protector i suggest you see the name of virus and go to the norton website and virus dictionary and type the virus name and it will definatly tell you how to remove the virus.

if on closing your friend has lost his data on pc then i am sure it is a virus or malware. even reinstalling will not help him getting back the data because the deletion done by virus/ malware is a type of secure earse and can not be restored back. the only way to get back the data is from backup and before you restore make sure to remove virus/ malware from pc.
