 i have heard a few stories and i don't know which to believe i have heard before if you download music onto your computer it could give you viruses and spyware and slow your computer down and then i have heard before that it won't do anything to your computer that it was alright to download music onto your computer, so i don't really know which to believe, i know that i have some music on my computer but it doesn't seem to be slowing it down any, but that may just be me not noticing it, so what do you all think, do you download music onto your computer? thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great day!

For instance, before you download music from a site, do some research on that site with Google and try to determine if they have a reputation of giving users viruses. If no one complains or many people vouch for it, you can probably trust the site.
Granted, it's always a good idea to do continuous research even after you've confirmed that the site is safe, since it's possible for sites to morph beyond their established reputation. Just be on your toes and viruses won't come your way.

I don't know about anyone else. I know that I haven't had any problems with music. Now I have had problems with downloading programs that have viruses with them. I have had to so a system recovery from them. More than once, so I have to be careful about that but not with the music. I haven't had a problem with the music. Have a good one.
