Do you consider the tactics used by the " Dog Whisperer " to be a bit unethical?

My friend who is a pet loving vegan was offended that Ceasar " domineers " the animals and actually used choke chains.
Although i would not personally do that, i cannot deny his animals are all well behaved and appear to be very happy... Am i not seeing something ???

Hi and Welcome to MyLot!!
I have watched Cesar in action on some of his shows and when he was on Oprah. He has many different views on the way to train dogs. I've learned alot from him and tend to agree that we as the owners are the 'domineers". If I didn't use that theory on my five dogs, this household would be in a big upheaval!
I do not agree with him about using choke chains for collars. I feel that is abusive and down right mean. I have regular collars for my dogs and with some of his tips and training it works out just fine.
