Which is better? a 1.2 GHz Quad Core or a 3.0 Dual Core

Hi, I think 3.0GHZ Dual Core is much better than 1.2GHZ Quad Core. Personally, I thin that quad core will be more pricey because the motherboard will be higher price if compared to motherboard for dual core. So, go for dual core is better. I never heard of quad core but I know dual core precoessors are very good. I have a dual core processor and it's very fast and I love it. I would check some review sites and compare the two of them.

According to my computer technician friend, 3.0 dual core is better. However you can research or ask local computer dealer about them. I'm sure they know which is much better. Good luck.
