I noticed an advertisement in a supplement of the daily mail yesterday..the advert was for a kettle, this ASDA/WALLMART kettle was priced at little over three pounds..$6 ..which is a giveaway price! It made me wonder about the wages the people are being paid for mass producing these keetles in their country.I have to say that if I go to Asda while the offer is on I shall buy one for a spare..but it makes you wonder doesnt it?

I would buy it most definately, that cannot be bad when you consider if you are just going to keep it the cupboard for a spare .I have been many times to Asda /Wallmart and hve seen things that represent such good value,I saw a lady buying a new toilet seat, the cost of that seat was three pounds and fifty pence, well you couldnt get better if you tried.Just say thaat you were newly weds, and you were just setting up home together then sall of the cut price things that you could get there would set you up in no time and on a very small budget too.

May be the kettle is made of cheap materials which means that when they mass produce it, the selling price can be made very low. In my country, there are many goods imported from China and are sold cheaply because it is made of cheap materials but they don't last very long. Another possible reason would be because the kettle is damaged or defective in some way and the shop wants to get rid of it as soon as possible. May be it had been sitting in the shop for so long already that it is out of date and the shopkeeper wants to get rid of it before the new ones arrive. Or simply because the shopkeeper wants to promote his or her products to the public and what better way to do it than to sell it at a lower price.
