a laptop for school

my son is 15 and wants a laptop too use for school and I want too know what would be a good one for him that will last and is cheap. I do not have a lot of money to be spending on something like this right now but maybe around christmas time.

I think the laptop for you son doesn't have to be functional and high-quality,and expensive.Because he is only 15.Does he use laptop to study?There are some kind of laptops that are good for him and cheap.HP is good,and mine is acer.
