fixed marriage?

I have no problem with this. i want to see my parents happy face. for that i can do anything. I don't want to hurt them by get marry against their choice.

I don't agree either with the fixed marriage. It is always good to marry a person whom you know very well. The one whom you are very comfortable to be with. the one who become you friend and you can open anything whatever you have in mind. Fixed marriages is just like you are marrying a stranger. What will happen when you are living together not knowing each other? If those people who live together who are well acquainted with each other have trouble to get along nicely how much more for a stranger that live together? It is really hard. I don't vote for the idea of fixed marriages.

I know it still happens in some countries. That is what the culture dictates. For me I am glad to have found my hubby myself. I'd rather be held together with love than culture and tradition.

same thoughts here, and i don't think a person can live a good life without knowing the person he/she is going to marry. you need to find the person who you really love and that person also must love you very much only then you can expect to lead a happy married life.
