Good friends help us grow. They bring stability in our ever-changing world. They're good for our well-being. It's natural to have conflicts with true friends, but they're too precious to let go.Broken friendships often occur because of misunderstandings. Your friend's behavior was likely because of the problems in her life and not a wish to hurt or use you.Forget your pride and apologize, even if you've been wronged. She may not even realize she treated you badly. Or if she does, she may have been scared to make the first move.Relive good memories together. Nothing mends a broken friendship better than shared positivity. Remind each other why you've stayed friends for so long. Step7Accept that not every broken friendship can go back to the way it was. You've both grown during your time apart. But it's worth maintaining good friendships even if they're not as close as before.

Frienship is very valuable and for something small that has upset forgive and move on but if that friend has betrayed by sleeping with your husband, no way, forgive but don't go back as this was no friend to begin with. I am accepting of my friends quirks and of our differences the same as mine are with me and over the years some have come and gone in moments but I am still friends 40 years later with my first ever school friend and we live in different areas now but have always remained in contact which is fantastic. We don't have to agree with things are friends do but we do need to be there for them no matter what. Ellie :D

Find out if it's worth it to try mending the friendship. If yes, find the reason why you are not as close as before, clarify any misunderstanding .Communication is extremely important.

Right!Communication is extremely important. If a friend doesn't make an effort to communicate that means She/he is not interested in your friendship anymore.
