Where do you prefer to go swimming on summer vacations - the beach or the pool?

Hi everyone!
Going swimming during summer vacation is always fun to do. Swimming has always been included in our iteniraries during summer especially if we have kids. All the excitement of plunging into the water and eating barbecues and hotdogs are always what the kids look forward to. For the adults, its the sun bathing, chit-chat and a little drink is a fine relaxation time in the beach or beside the pool.
But if you would go swimming on summer vacations, where do you prefer to go - the beach or the pool?

I live in Miami so I have access to both year round. We usually go to a pool since its convenient and we have so many friends that have pools that we usually have an invite every week. Personally, I like the beach since I enjoy walking on the sand and the smell of the salty water. The only bad part is finding parking. If you get up too late, it's hard to find parking so I usually go early morning or very late afternoon when there aren't so many people and I have easier access.

Well swimming is my favorite thing to do in the sumer. I always prefer to go to the beach, but it is so far for me to go to one, so I usually end up at the pool.The beach is so much more fun though.
