Cable TV

You know I really really love my tv shows. So when a well known cable company takes away 5 stations and says the only way to get them is to get a digital receiver. Well, I was extra mad because now I'm going to miss Shear Genius and Project Runway. My husband, sweet thing that he is, goes to get the digital receivers. We install them. Guess what, my vcr's and dvd recorders won't pick up any stations now. I work the late shift which means I record all the shows that come on between 7pm-12am and watch them when I get home. Well, not now! So after 4 days of calling the cable company and having fits of anger our daughter steps in and calls the cable company. They finally relent and will be sending out a repairman to hook everything up supposedly without charging us. I'll believe it when I see it. So the cable company keeps your deposit if you cancel their service but they can change your cable lineup in a heartbeat, without any notice. Don't they realize that TV is the average person's entertainment. Of course, as Americans we are going to let them get away with it. The only other choice, out her in the sticks, is satellite.

What cable company do you have? Sounds like some shady stuff our cable company would do to us. They know it is what most Americans do thats why that change it on you because they KNOW you are going to pay the extra money for those channels.

We have comcast they are ridiculous with stuff. We are always having problems with the internet and cable. It is so annoying.
