Safety Motion Sensors For Cars

I believe that it is time for cars to have motion sensors pre-installed in them. This way, if the car over heats and any living thing is in there moving, the air will come on and maybe a couple of windows can go down slightly. There are too many children and animals dying from being forgotten in vehicles these days. People are so busy and have so much on their minds that they are forgetting things that should matter the most to them.
There will still be those who will be punished if the child is found lone in the car, but at least the child will have a better chance at survival. Please tell me what you think of this idea.

I so agree with you on this Rozie because there are so many stupid idiots who still leave their babies or young ones as well as their fur babies in the car even if it's just for a moment. It's so unnerving to know it still goes on and there should be something to help alieviate the horrible conditions that they go through before they die and instead help them to live. I so agree with you on this one!! Maybe you should submit the idea to a company somewhere in hopes it'll take hold?

How would it work? I think in theory it is a good idea if you do not leave a pet in the car when it is safe to do so. I do not like leaving an animal in the car no matter what the temperature is.
I do not know how someone can leave a child in the car. I never forgot my children in the car.

This seems to be happening more often now that women have more responsibility than before. I do not know all the technical details, but I know that it is possible to create this right now. I know that most parents would never leave their child in the car purposely, but they say that, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

That is a great idea. Hubby is reading along and he thinks so, as well. I wonder who we need to go to to get some action on it. Probably not government, but car manufacturers perhaps?

That is a good idea. I have another suggestion, how about a temperature regulator that if the car has a occupant under s certain size or weight, then when the temperature goes over a certain amount either an alarm sounds and if no one comes within the next few minutes, the windows open just to bring in air but the doors remain locked and so a thief cannot put in a wire and open the car. The alarm would be a good idea and maybe have the area around the license plate or the car lights turn on and off as well.
