If Barack Obama wants to guarantee the election of 2008 and 2012, he needs to choose CAROLINE KENNEDY as his running mate! I would be willing to bet that she is, if not more, qualified than anyone else on Sen.Obama's or McCain's short list. If Sen.Obama really wants to change things, this would be the way to do it! Caroline Kennedy is an attorney and co-author or "The Right to Privacy" and "In Our Defense: The Bill of Rights in Action". From 2002-2004, she served as Chief Executive for the Office of Strategic Partnerships for the New York City Department of Education where she helped raise more than $65 million in private support for the city's public schools. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of The Fund for Public Schools. Ms. Kennedy is the President of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation and is a member of the John F. Kennedy Profiles in Courage Awards Committee. She is the Director of the Commission on Presidential Debates and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and serves as Honorary Chairman of the American Ballet Theatre. She is a graduate of Harvard University and Columbia Law School. (taken from the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation website.) Her experience in politics and the influential people and World Leader's that she and her family know (along with the Kennedy political machine) would be a great asset to her, the Obama Campaign and to the nation. She would be a great deal of assistance in campaigning for the crucial Women's vote (and those of us who were supporters and fans of the Late President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy) that Senator Obama needs to win and in his administration to help heal this nation and the 90% of the American Public that the Bush Administration has ignored.

I wasn't questioning her abilities or experience within the political spectrum. She may well be a good running mate, although all I have heard thus far is that she was trying to help Obama pick a running mate. While I was a big fan of JFK and Robert, and I admire Ted, I don't think that would make me feel inclined to vote for Caroline simply because she shares their family name. I really don't care who Obama picks, as I seriously doubt that I will vote Democratic this time around. I don't see Obama as a viable President

I was a Republican for most of my adult life until I saw the current President Bush champion the causes and catered to the desires of Big Business and Big Oil(being an oilman himself, lining his pockets was a big priority. I saw the Bush Administration stomp on the Consitition of the United States and the Bill of Rights for his own gains and those of the mega rich. The other 90% of Americans were simply ignored. I saw an article in the St. Petersburg [Florida] Times that stated that since the tax cuts for the extremely wealthy were enacted: 1% of the wealthiest American's own 43% of America's wealth while 90% of the not wealthy American's own only 47% of America's wealth. The other 9% of the wealthest American's own the rest. President Bush is basically a puppet of V.P. Cheney and special interests. I imagine that many old school members of the GOP rolled in their graves when they saw the party being taken pushed aside by the greedy Republican leadership. Senator McCain wants to make those tax cuts for the wealthy permanent and doesn't have a problem with the war in Iraq continuing for 50 to 100 years. He, too, is just a puppet to special interests. This caused me to leave the Republican Party (even though I was admirers of John F. and Robert F. Kennedy). The party of Gerald Ford and Abraham Lincoln is a thing of history. I still admired Richard Nixon for his grasp of foriegn affairs. I think even he would be disolluisioned by the current GOP. I don't think that President Bush and V.P. Cheney should be impeached. I think that they should be tried for TREASON against the American People for blatant disregard of the very principles that this great country was founded upon. They should also be tried as ACCESSORIES TO MURDER in the needless deaths of our service people who were sent to war without proper equipment. It's interesting to note that NO U.S. President has been allowed to ride in a limousine without a bulletproof top since the Kennedy assasination in 1963, yet Bush, Cheney and the Military Industrial Complex allowed our brave service people to be sent into hostile territory in uncovered trucks. I once read that the service people had to buy their own bulletproof vests. I also read that our Veteran's in VA Hospitals had to buy their own meals until Congress corrected that situation. How could anyone vote for a party with such a history? In my opinion, there is no one person who is ever ideal for the job of President of the United States. It takes those with vision and the ability to move, excite and get American people interested in and want to become involved in the government of our country again. I knew that Barack Obama had this ability when he delivered the keynote address during the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Being a Republican at that time, the only reason I tuned in was because I couldn't believe the Ron Reagan, Jr. was speaking there that same night. I knew then that Obama was to be a moving force in the Democratic Party. That is also why I believe that Caroline Kennedy should be on the ticket. The charisma of President John F. Kennedy is still with us today in Caroline Kennedy and is a powerful force that Senator Obama would be foolish to pass up.

Well, someone must have been wanting this one I am sure. I am actually surprized this is the first time I seen something like this, but we know now he chose Biden so this is not a thought. I wonder why we never really hear much from Caroline though when it comes to Politics. After all, she is a Kennedy.
